Overtone Analyzer 1.1.0 released
18. May 2009
- The frequency scale can now be panned and zoomed, which makes working with the program much more fluent.
- Most views and scales now offer mouse wheel support for zooming or scrolling.
- The Overtone Sliders can now snap to the nearest peak in the spectrum. This allows highly accurate frequency measurements. The snap mode can be adjusted under Options / Note Sliders or on the toolbar.
- Different profiles for planetary tones, singing and speaking voice ranges can now be selected directly in the main window when the mouse moves over the window with those ranges (the window with the clef to the left of the piano).
- The Overtone Sliders are now slowly becoming real Note Sliders. They are no longer limited to be fixed on the screen and can also be assigned to a time segment of the recording (in other words, a note). This allows to transcribe entire pieces, and to export the note sequence as MIDI.
