It also allows you to generate synthetic sounds for calibrating measurements.<\/p>\n<p>The workflow is to adjust some settings, and then to click on the <span class=\"guibutton\">Generate<\/span> button to add the new sound to the current recording.<br \/>\n  To get started, click on the <span class=\"guibutton\">Saved Profiles<\/span> list on the right, pick one of the predefined profiles, and click on <span class=\"guibutton\">Generate<\/span>.
